This article describes how to configure Windows Mail on your Laptop or Desktop to send and receive emails with your Mail4Work email address.

Default IMAP settings

Throughout this tutorial you will learn how to configure IMAP in Windows Mail using the values ​​below. We recommend IMAP to keep a copy of your emails in your mailbox; this will allow you to sync multiple email clients at once, for example, laptop, mobile, and desktop.

Email address: email address of your mailbox
Password: your mailbox password
Account type: IMAP
Incoming mail server: secure.emailsrvr.com
Outgoing mail server: secure.emailsrvr.com
Incoming mail server TCP port (IMAP): 993 (SSL)
Outgoing mail server TCP port (SMTP): 465 (SSL)

Windows Mail Settings

1. Open Mail from the Windows Start menu.

2. If this is your first time opening the Mail app, you'll see a Welcome to Mail page. Click Add Account to get started.

If you've used the Mail app before, go to Settings> Manage Accounts> Add Account

3. Choose Other Account.

4. Enter the Email address of your mailbox.

5. Next, define the Name you want to use when sending messages.

6. Enter the Password of your mailbox.

That's it! You have correctly configured your Mail4Work mailbox in Windows Mail. The synchronization process between Windows Mail and your mailbox may take some time depending on the amount of email data that will be retrieved.
